Verizon to Build New Advanced Tech Center in Waltham, Mass

Verizon is ready to start construction of a new Technology Innovation Center in Waltham, Mass. The company (and its predecessors) have operated research labs in the area since the 1940s.

The new Verizon Technology Innovation Center will focus on 4G LTE wireless networks. Upon completion, the three buildings on the Verizon Technology Campus at Waltham will house more than 300 employees. In addition to office and lab space, it will feature an Executive Briefing Center where partners, consumer electronics companies, innovation collaborators, business executives and public officials can meet to discuss and collaborate on forward-
looking technologies.
