Alcatel-Lucent has enhanced its 7342 ISAM Fiber-to-the-User (FTTU) solution with a new quad port line card, which double system capacity. The new GPON line card has four GPON ports, each of which can support up to 64 subscribers with 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream line rates.
