3^rd Party Interoperability Program

Another step in the realization of this vision for SIP programmability is the availability of custom development services from the solution vendor.  A 3^rd party interoperability program allows the solution provider and 3rd party vendors to test the interoperability of their respective products, applications, and solutions.  The 3^rd party interoperability program can provide the assurance to the service provider that 3rd party applications can be deployed with the SIP-based multimedia services solution and that this multi-vendor based solution will meet the service provider’s expectations with respect to functionality, availability, and maintainability.

Custom Development Service

Another step in the realization of the vision SIP programmability is the availability of Custom development services from the solution vendor.  Custom service development makes available a team of trained service development resources that can be engaged to facilitate and accelerate of core product features and custom application development for service providers.  Custom development resources can be utilized to create a variety of services and applications, including:

• Hard client feature enhancements
• Soft-client integration with desktop, kiosk, and call center applications
• Extension of soft-client APIs
• Customization of user interfaces
• Enhancements to applications and services with IM and Presence
• Enabling service provider and customer web sites with customized SIP-based click-to-call applications
• Transitioning legacy TDM applications to the IP services space
• Customization of service verticals to create market place differentiation
