Samsung Electronics is a leading supplier of WiMAX equipment worldwide. Financial terms were not disclosed. Strix offer a modular, chassis-based mesh system that accomodates up to six radios per node. The platform can scale by adding more radio boards, 4.9GHz, WiMAX modules, or new technologies.
