BBC: Bangladesh Stuck in Telecoms Jam

Unregistered and privately-owned VoIP operators in Bangladesh have been shut down disrupting thousands of international callers, according to the BBC. The move is seen as protecting the state-owned telephone company, the Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board, and as part of a wider crackdown on illegal businesses by the country's new military-backed government.
